weekend in Manila with my boys..
9:57 AM Edit This 0 Comments »Last week, me and my boys went to Manila again for a short weekend vacation.. Its business mixed with pleasure because my husband has to go there to close a deal with his client. So we decided to go together with our kids. Traveling with them is happiness to me. Original plan was just me and my DH but I felt that I won't enjoy without my kids around. I would just be worrying about them. We had a late flight around 9pm because my eldest still has to attend class. I'm so proud of my the kids for they are used in traveling. Time isn't a big issue to them. We arrived in Manila around 10pm and went straight to Charter House in Makati, a hotel fronting Greenbelt (a mall). I love the place because its just walking distance from all the restaurants and malls. We stayed at their suite, it was nice even though its not a luxury hotel.
The following day, a friend of ours took at to Tagaytay City.. our second time there.. We just fell in love with the city and its climate. We went to Palace in the Sky and ate lunch at the famous Josephine Restaurant. I really enjoy doing this kind of stuff with my boys. I wouldn't exchange it for anything else, I just love traveling with them. These kids are really lucky that at their age, they already experience going to different places. Hope the lil one will still remember but I guess not coz he's just 2 years old. Only the pictures will remind him on where he has been. hehe! After Tagaytay, we stopped by at Lunete Park where Jose Rizal's (our national hero) statue is located. Its the requests of my eldest kid for the reason that its in their lesson in school. He wants to personally see the guard soldiers there that doesn't move. Such a lucky kid!
We ended the day at Rockwell Powerplant, where we had dinner at California Pizza Kitchen. I really feel so blessed to have my DH and kids around to spend a short vacation. Tomorrow is shopping time and looking forward to it..
