Our Stay in Makati..

At last, we're already here in Makati after a long drive from Laguna. Imagine its just us, no tour guide around! hehehe! It just proves that we're all certified "laagan" as we call it in bisaya meaning loves to go anywhere.
We checked in at Renaissance Hotel. Its a five star hotel located just across Greenbelt shopping mall with huge range of bars and restaurants within walking distance. The hotels name before was New World Renaissance Hotel and it has been renamed The Renaissance Makati City Hotel, Manila. We were so impressed because our room was very nice and the staff were friendly. Also appreciated the high security when entering and leaving. After eating our dinner, we hit the sack right away because we were so tired.. The next day, I was excited to go to around the malls. We went first to Glorietta  to meet a friend and have lunch at T.G.I Fridays. So yummy their food, I was so full. We let the kids play at the kids area. Then, we started our malling. Kinda tiring but was enjoying the shops. After all the walking and shopping we went back to the hotel, rest a bit then get ready for dinner. Had our dinner at Dencio's, the food was great. So bad, there's no Dencio's here in Cebu. Such a wonderful day we had...

It's Fun at Enchanted Kingdom!

After our stay in Tagaytay, we went straight to Enchanted Kingdom. It's the first time of my kids to go there so I'm excited to see their reactions. We arrived there around 3pm and I was right, the kids were amazed. Entrance is kinda expensive, 500 per person and you can enjoy unlimited use of all the park's thrilling rides and attractions. We spent our afternoon with fun-filled adventurous excitement. We headed straight to the grand carousel, it was fun because we get to ride together. Kuya pom and ashton was enjoying the ride. It was the first time of Ashton to ride a stone egg.. so cute! Kuya Pom also felt like a real pilot while riding the Up up and away. He just can't get enough of airplanes. Aside from the rides, Enchanted Kingdom also charms its visitors with various treats such as fireworks show every weekend but we weren't able to see because we had to travel to Makati after and we were also very exhausted. We had our snacks and i bought some souvenirs. I'm glad my kids had fun.. this is the closest version of Disney-type leisure in our country. But we're still planning to go to Disneyland soon.. bye for now!

Our Road Trip to Tagaytay City

hmm.. what can i say, this was the best vacation ever. we had our weeklong summer vacation last april26- may3. Our first stop was Tagaytay City, the second summer capital of the Philippines. It was a tiring yet fun trip. Can you imagine, I travelled alone tagging my two kids and worst is our flight is two hours delayed. OMG! Mark, my hubby was just waiting for us in Manila coz he just got back from Singapore. We arrived in Manila around 7pm and I'm glad i handled the kids all throughout the flight. Thank God!
So glad to see my husband coz we missed him. We went first to Cavite to have our dinner at the place of Mark's friend. We were so hungry, its a good thing they ordered Max's fried chicken and crispy pata for us. Yummy! After our dinner, rest a bit then started our road trip to Tagaytay. We're kinda lucky because Mark's friend lend us his car. It's more adventure for us coz we were alone but my husband knows where to go that's why i'm confident. It wasn't such a long trip. We arrived in Tagaytay around 11pm.. the kids we're asleep the whole trip but woke up when we got there. First thing we did was find a place to stay. We're lucky to find Aroma Tagaytay Apartelle, its really affordable. After checking in, we drove around and went to starbucks for some coffee coz the kids are awake. So, might as well check out the places here.
The next day it was time for our tour around the city. We had our breakfast at the apartelle and its a good thing dessert is for free. We had sweet pineapple. After eating we head straight to Our Lady of Manaog, we took some pictures there and bought some delicacies of Tagaytay. It was a Sunday morning so it was a perfect time to visit mama Mary. Next stop was the zoo at Residence Inn. Its a perfect picnic place for the family where you will find a mini zoo and children's play area, all set amidst the view of Taal Volcano. Very nice!!! The kids were so amazed with the animals. After practically going to malls every weekend this was something new to them. The fact that my kids seemed happy to see real live lion and tiger that they otherwise see only in books made me appreciate this trip as well. =) It was lunch time and we're hungry.. we headed straight to a restaurant where they serve their specialty "bulalo and tilawis". The restaurant was overlooking the Taal Volcano and had a sumptuous lunch. We went back to the apartelle to rest and get ready for our next destination... Enchanted Kingdom. We will be checking out today coz we planned to stay in Makati after going to Enchanted Kingdom. We'll thats of course is another story but i'm pretty sure we will be coming back to Tagaytay soon..
