A Day at Home..

3:49 PM Edit This 0 Comments »
I just stayed at home today, so early surfing the internet. Of course, facebooking and playing yoville. I still woke up early to cook breakfast for hubby and wasn't able to go back to sleep again. Ashton has runny nose, poor little one. Hubby left his cellphone that's why  my YM was online the whole day for me to I.M him if ever someone calls or text.  My kids were playing around as usual. As I was keeping their toys I noticed the tent of pompom which he calls "his house" being decorated with halloween stuff. It's cute for a 6 years old to be imaginative. So, i hurriedly took a picture of it and that is the one below.

Written in that yellow paper below is HALLOWEEN. Cute isn't it? I wanted him to join a halloween party but he doesn't like. He joined last year and didn't had so much fun so i won't force him anyway. We will just be going out this friday coz my hubby has no work. Just take the kids malling instead. Maybe next year he would be convince to join if Ashton would join too.

This plain black looks simple but classy.

This brown sunglasses is cute with its details at the sides.

This blog was supposed to be made last night but i was already sleepy, hehe! found two sunglasses in SM, bought it right away. its so cheap and chic especially its also the fad nowadays. you know the oversized sunglasses worn by celebrities, i love that style. i'm dreaming to have a chanel or tom ford but too bad can't afford it at this time. So anyway, i'm already happy with what i found.

ANOTHER DAY

Today i went to pompom's school for their monthly special activity. October covers the theme "environment''. They are taught how to save mother earth which is pretty obvious thats its not in good shape nowadays. The weather is not predictable anymore that's why we get sick, usually cough and colds. Its a good thing the children knows how to care for the environment while they're still young. I was also glad to chit chat with a friend of mine, who i haven't seen for awhile now. She's just too busy to fetch her child at school because she's taking up nursing for her second course. At least we had the time to catch up with each other and all my mommy friends there.

I'M BACK!!!

it's been a while since i wrote a  blog.. just don't have enough time, so busy multi tasking.. gosh! so many things has happened the past month.  i got sick for a week and had to rest and give my body a chance to slow down. hehe! its not really easy being a full time mom to two boys but its still rewarding because you will see them as they grow and be the first to capture their milestones in life.  sometimes though i feel so bored coz its already a routine everyday. i feel like yeah i want to find a job and work but the other side of me is thinking what about the kids?? will they be well taken care of a nanny? will they be given the proper care? so many things are in my mind that i couldn't handle. one thing is for sure, i'll have separation anxiety. it's really hard because since they were born, i'm always at their side to take care of them. that's why i'm pretty sure that if i decide to work, it's gonna be one hell of a decision to make. kids nowadays grow up so fast, you gotta be there for them while they're still young. spend some time with your child everyday, hold on to each moment while you may.. true isn't it? are there moms out there who are just like me? i admit i get tired once in awhile coz  when i was still single you really can't see me at home. i'm always out, as in out for work or out with friends.. never at home. hehe! but i know time changes, especially when we go to the next level.. you know what i mean? getting married and have children. i've accepted that fact.

but after all, i'm still so lucky to have my children and my hubby who is a very responsible man. i just have to face reality and its just normal if i feel tired or depressed sometimes.. but usually i'm happy with what i have now. maybe i'll just have to find a job online to keep me more busy. hahah! or to help my hubby with the bills, at least i can also contribute right? anyone who knows where i can get a job online there? leave a comment. =)

today is oct.24,2008.. pom has no class but tomorrow we have to go to his school for his special activity. i'm here now with my 2 kids who are watching  high school musical 2 on disney channel while i'm making this blog.. thanks to my hubby who bought me a laptop (macbook <- i so love it!) this what keeps me updated with the world out there. i'm enjoying faceboookCheck Spellingnowadays just to keep up with friends. little things that makes me happy. from now on i'll be updating my blog, promise! =)

Our Stay in Makati..

At last, we're already here in Makati after a long drive from Laguna. Imagine its just us, no tour guide around! hehehe! It just proves that we're all certified "laagan" as we call it in bisaya meaning loves to go anywhere.
We checked in at Renaissance Hotel. Its a five star hotel located just across Greenbelt shopping mall with huge range of bars and restaurants within walking distance. The hotels name before was New World Renaissance Hotel and it has been renamed The Renaissance Makati City Hotel, Manila. We were so impressed because our room was very nice and the staff were friendly. Also appreciated the high security when entering and leaving. After eating our dinner, we hit the sack right away because we were so tired.. The next day, I was excited to go to around the malls. We went first to Glorietta  to meet a friend and have lunch at T.G.I Fridays. So yummy their food, I was so full. We let the kids play at the kids area. Then, we started our malling. Kinda tiring but was enjoying the shops. After all the walking and shopping we went back to the hotel, rest a bit then get ready for dinner. Had our dinner at Dencio's, the food was great. So bad, there's no Dencio's here in Cebu. Such a wonderful day we had...

It's Fun at Enchanted Kingdom!

After our stay in Tagaytay, we went straight to Enchanted Kingdom. It's the first time of my kids to go there so I'm excited to see their reactions. We arrived there around 3pm and I was right, the kids were amazed. Entrance is kinda expensive, 500 per person and you can enjoy unlimited use of all the park's thrilling rides and attractions. We spent our afternoon with fun-filled adventurous excitement. We headed straight to the grand carousel, it was fun because we get to ride together. Kuya pom and ashton was enjoying the ride. It was the first time of Ashton to ride a stone egg.. so cute! Kuya Pom also felt like a real pilot while riding the Up up and away. He just can't get enough of airplanes. Aside from the rides, Enchanted Kingdom also charms its visitors with various treats such as fireworks show every weekend but we weren't able to see because we had to travel to Makati after and we were also very exhausted. We had our snacks and i bought some souvenirs. I'm glad my kids had fun.. this is the closest version of Disney-type leisure in our country. But we're still planning to go to Disneyland soon.. bye for now!

Our Road Trip to Tagaytay City

12:44 PM Posted In Edit This 0 Comments »

hmm.. what can i say, this was the best vacation ever. we had our weeklong summer vacation last april26- may3. Our first stop was Tagaytay City, the second summer capital of the Philippines. It was a tiring yet fun trip. Can you imagine, I travelled alone tagging my two kids and worst is our flight is two hours delayed. OMG! Mark, my hubby was just waiting for us in Manila coz he just got back from Singapore. We arrived in Manila around 7pm and I'm glad i handled the kids all throughout the flight. Thank God!
So glad to see my husband coz we missed him. We went first to Cavite to have our dinner at the place of Mark's friend. We were so hungry, its a good thing they ordered Max's fried chicken and crispy pata for us. Yummy! After our dinner, rest a bit then started our road trip to Tagaytay. We're kinda lucky because Mark's friend lend us his car. It's more adventure for us coz we were alone but my husband knows where to go that's why i'm confident. It wasn't such a long trip. We arrived in Tagaytay around 11pm.. the kids we're asleep the whole trip but woke up when we got there. First thing we did was find a place to stay. We're lucky to find Aroma Tagaytay Apartelle, its really affordable. After checking in, we drove around and went to starbucks for some coffee coz the kids are awake. So, might as well check out the places here.
The next day it was time for our tour around the city. We had our breakfast at the apartelle and its a good thing dessert is for free. We had sweet pineapple. After eating we head straight to Our Lady of Manaog, we took some pictures there and bought some delicacies of Tagaytay. It was a Sunday morning so it was a perfect time to visit mama Mary. Next stop was the zoo at Residence Inn. Its a perfect picnic place for the family where you will find a mini zoo and children's play area, all set amidst the view of Taal Volcano. Very nice!!! The kids were so amazed with the animals. After practically going to malls every weekend this was something new to them. The fact that my kids seemed happy to see real live lion and tiger that they otherwise see only in books made me appreciate this trip as well. =) It was lunch time and we're hungry.. we headed straight to a restaurant where they serve their specialty "bulalo and tilawis". The restaurant was overlooking the Taal Volcano and had a sumptuous lunch. We went back to the apartelle to rest and get ready for our next destination... Enchanted Kingdom. We will be checking out today coz we planned to stay in Makati after going to Enchanted Kingdom. We'll thats of course is another story but i'm pretty sure we will be coming back to Tagaytay soon..
