weekend in Manila with my boys..

Last week, me and my boys went to Manila again for a short weekend vacation.. Its business mixed with pleasure because my husband has to go there to close a deal with his client. So we decided to go together with our kids. Traveling with them is happiness to me. Original plan was just me and my DH but I felt that I won't enjoy without my kids around. I would just be worrying about them. We had a late flight around 9pm because my eldest still has to attend class. I'm so proud of my the kids for they are used in traveling.  Time isn't a big issue to them. We arrived in Manila around 10pm and went straight to Charter House in Makati, a hotel fronting Greenbelt (a mall). I love the place because its just walking distance from all the restaurants and malls. We stayed at their suite, it was nice even though its not a luxury hotel.
The following day, a friend of ours took at to Tagaytay City.. our second time there.. We just fell in love with the city and its climate. We went to Palace in the Sky and ate lunch at the famous Josephine Restaurant. I really enjoy doing this kind of stuff with my boys. I wouldn't exchange it for anything else, I just love traveling with them. These kids are really lucky that at their age, they already experience going to different places. Hope the lil one will still remember but I guess not coz he's just 2 years old. Only the pictures will remind him on where he has been. hehe! After Tagaytay, we stopped by at Lunete Park where Jose Rizal's (our national hero) statue is located. Its the requests of my eldest kid for the reason that its in their lesson in school. He wants to personally see the guard soldiers there that doesn't move. Such a lucky kid!
We ended the day at Rockwell Powerplant, where we had dinner at California Pizza Kitchen. I really feel so blessed to have my DH and kids around to spend a short vacation. Tomorrow is shopping time and looking forward to it..

High School Friends...

Yesterday me and my DH took our kids to a birthday party at Max's Restaurant in SM. It was the 1st birthday of my friend Yhan-Yhan, my high school classmate.. After so many years, we met again just because of Facebook. It does connects us with people we didn't see for ages and I'm addicted to its games. I'm so happy to see this girls again or should I say women coz we're all moms now. hehe! Its fulfilling to see friends who are also fashionista moms, who still takes care of themselves even how busy a mommy life is.. No matter if your sexy or not, I believe that we should deserve to look and feel good. I'm looking forward to more time with my friends soon.. ;-)

Ipanema sand premium black/smoke

yey! now I have two pairs ;-)

I have to buy the other color which is the black/smoke Ipanema to match my other outfit.. Its really my attitude to buy all neutral colors for one style especially when I feel comfortable wearing it. Its my birthday on Monday, so maybe this is my advance gift for myself. heheh!

Finally! my Ipanema..

Loving my new Ipanema sandals, another brazilian brand with a rubber so soft.. so comfortable to my feet. Yeah, I know some of you out there are thinking what's with flipflops and sandals why I go gaga over them.. well all I can say is, its none of your business! LoL! joke! Honestly, its because I'm a flipflop girl but I do have other shoes too... Weather in the Philippines is tropical so its not proper to use any boots here.. usually when going to the mall its never easy for me to wear heels coz i'll be chasing after my kiddos. haha!

Last week was already school day in Don Bosco Technology Center, my son's school. It made me realize that I already have a grader. Time flies so fast, I can't believe that my baby is already a school boy. Me and DH are so proud of him because he is already ready to be in grade1. On the first day he complained that he is tired after a long day in school but at least he never said that he doesn't like to go to school again. My everyday reminder helped him to adjust immediately being in school the whole day. I told him that its gonna be a big change when he is in grade1 for he will be in school from 7am to 4pm. I made sure that he understands that school is very important. I'm really glad that he is OK now, waking up early and going to bed early. My alarm clock for him is to let him play pet society and farmtown in facebookhehe! He would wake up right away because its his enjoyment. Today is the 2nd week and I'm hoping that eventually he would get used to the rules and regulations in school. I'm hoping for the best for my kiddo.. We're always here to guide him every step of the way.
Here are some pics I took of him in his classroom...

Dinner at Marco Polo Hotel..

7:57 PM Edit This 0 Comments »
Last Sunday we were invited to have dinner at Cafe Marco at the Marco Polo Hotel by our Malaysian friends.. Cafe Marco is one of my favorite restaurants here. Its quite expensive but the food was worth it. They serve scrumptious buffets daily which have an international spread. A wide variety of dishes from Filipino, Chinese, Japanese, Italian foods. So far it is the best "all you can eat" buffet in Cebu. My kids love it here too.. especially their dessert area which has a chocolate fountain and fruits and all the pastries you want. Yum! Such a gastronomic experience.. I'm loving the fact that its another bonding time for me and my family..
